Recycling Works When We Work Together
– By #Me
On January 1, 2018, China imposed waste ban restrictions as well as requiring the quality of material it accepts for recycling to be no greater than .5% contamination. This has greatly impacted the recycling industry world-wide and created new challenges throughout the supply chain – residents, solid waste departments, material recovery facilities, processors, end users and beyond. To ensure the long-term sustainability of our recycling programs we will need to reduce the contamination. There is only 1 way to make this work:
“RECYCLING WORKS WHEN WE WORK TOGETHER”
When contaminated or unacceptable items end up in your recycling, they turn the entire load into trash, resulting in additional processing and disposal costs. Please follow the simple guidelines listed below and we can work together toward a sustainable future.
From your Recycling Partners at El Paso Disposal - Thank You in advance for all your efforts in making your Recycling Program possible!
